Strengthening, Preparing & Connecting Youth

Young Rhinebeck

Teen Center

Currently, Young Rhinebeck is developing community-based activities for teens in and around Rhinebeck.  These activities will include workshops like the free Art for a Cause workshops we have sponsored in the past for middle and high school students, and other programs as we develop them.

We are actively seeking adult volunteers to assist with teen programming.  If you are interested in volunteering, or would like more information about Young Rhinebeck, e-mail us at:

E-mail:  jen@youngrhinebeck.org

With assistance from Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County, the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, community volunteers, and especially Young Rhinebeck’s Teen Center Advisory Committee, Young Rhinebeck operated a teen center in the 4H Building on the Dutchess County Fairgrounds during the 2008—2009 school year.  Unfortunately, funding cuts have prevented the re-opening of the center for the 2009-2010 school year.  We do anticipate, however, continuing to provide workshops and activities for teens in and around town.  Be sure to check back here for announcements of upcoming programs.

Many, many thanks to all of you who helped, in one way or another, with the Teen Center.  Your time and effort was truly appreciated!
